Resources
There are many resources for congregations and individuals seeking to explore questions of call, vocation, and purpose. Here are a few we recommend.
CALLED TO LIVES OF MEANING AND PURPOSE
Creative Callings is part of the larger Called to Lives of Meaning and Purpose initiative. The aims of of the initiative are to deepen and enrich the lives of Christians by equipping them to discern and live out their callings and to enhance the vitality of congregations by developing new ministry models for inspiring and supporting the Christian callings of their members. The initiative offers a wealth of resources on vocation, innovation, and congregational life.
Studying Congregations
We are excited to announce our partnership with the Studying Congregations project at Boston University School of Theology. We are dedicated to mutual support and sharing resources as we consider the intersection of calling and congregational life.
Theology of Work Project
"The Theology of Work Project (TOW) is the deepest, largest, and most trusted source of biblical, theological, and pastoral material related to work. Most of our materials are available free of charge on this website, although we have a few print-only publications available at our online books. Our cornerstone resource, the Theology of Work Bible Study, is the only commentary covering what the entire Bible says about work. It is in use by over 60 partner organizations, dozens of seminaries, and hundreds of churches."
