1/14/2019 February 2 Parking Request
Dear Creative Callings Hub Members,
We hope you enjoyed the holidays and that all is starting well for you in the new year! We are looking forward to seeing you all at our gathering for all Hub members on Saturday, February 2 at BU School of Theology.
We have a quick request for anyone who would like a parking pass for Saturday, February 2. Can we save a space for you (in our garage, of course!)? University regulations require us to submit individual names for parking passes, so we kindly request that you let us know if you'll need a pass at this RSVP link by this Friday, January 18. It's no problem to cancel if your plans change, but this will help us on our initial reservation. You can also email Kathryn at callings@bu.edu if you prefer.
Thanks so much for your help, and please let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.

12/21/2018 Creative Callings Updates and 2019 Schedule
Dear Creative Callings Hub Members,
Thank you for all you have shared with us, and with each other, at our fall events. We're writing with details and reminders for our upcoming Spring 2019 events. While our next full Hub gathering won't be until February, please feel free to be in touch if you would like to connect individually in January. You can email Kathryn (callings@bu.edu) to arrange a conversation.
Next All-Hub meeting: February 2, 2019
All teams will gather on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at BU School of Theology from 10-4pm. We hope that each congregational team member can attend. Creative Callings Leadership Team faculty members will facilitate workshops on pedagogy and art, studying your congregation, and grant applications. Muelder Chapel and rooms throughout STH will also be available for quiet reflection throughout the day. For our planning purposes, we request that each team member RSVP separately by January 11, 2019. You can RSVP for the February 2nd event at this link.
2019 Small Group and Congregational Meetings
We will have two opportunities for further conversation in Spring 2019.
Monday, March 4, 6-8pm: We kindly ask that you reserve Monday, March 4, 2019, 6-8pm for a small group cluster meeting at BU School of Theology. An informal dinner will begin at 5:30, and you are welcome to come early for food and fellowship. More details and an RSVP link will be shared in January.
First week of April: In the first week of April, teams will have an opportunity for an individual Zoom team consultation with faculty from the Creative Callings Leadership Team to discuss grant applications. Teams and members of the leadership team will arrange these conversations separately. We will share more details at the February 2 Hub Event.
Creative Callings Website
We hope you'll visit ourCreative Callings website(creativecallingsproject.org) for updates on upcoming events, the Creative Callings blog, and photos from past events. These are available under the "Resources" tab of on the Creative Callings website. The two sections specifically for Hub members are "Hub Member Page" and "Hub Event." You will be able to access both with the login: meaningandpurpose1819
Email addresses
To keep important conversations going, many of you have asked for one another's email addresses. We would like to make Hub members' email addresses available on our password-protected Members page. If you would like us not to include your email, please let Kathryn know directly at callings@bu.edu before January 4, 2019.
Please let us know if you have any questions (callings@bu.edu). We are grateful for each of you and your congregations, and we send our best to you this holiday season.

10/30/2018 Stories of Calling and the Center for Practical Theology Annual Lecture Event Photos!
It was great to see so many of you at our recent Stories of Calling and the Center for Practical Theology Annual Lecture events. The stories you offered about your call, and the hospitable space you created together, were gifts to the Innovation Hub. You shared powerful moments of connection, reflection, and vision that will continue to enrich our conversations and work together. We are grateful to Dr. Kathleen Cahalan, for her presentation and her presence at Stories of Calling, and to Creative Callings pastors Rev. Laura Ruth Jarrett, Rev. Isaac Everett, and Rev. Dr. Jay Williams, as well as Project Coordinator Rev. Kathryn House, for participating in a fishbowl response following the lecture. We hope that some of you who attended Stories of Calling and the Annual Lecture might be willing to share about your experience at our upcoming small group cluster meeting on November 12. We hope you enjoy these pictures of the event. You can access a recording of the Annual Lecture and fishbowl activity at this link.

While the Creative Callings member page will always be our primary page, as a secondary resource, we also have a closed Creative Callings Facebook group. This can can be another place to connect with one another, but there is no requirement to join Facebook or the group. Keep an eye out from an invitation from Kathryn House to join the group.
